Precepts of Ethics
The Precepts of Ethics are written to be the binding code of the Aurbis. The path to a better world. They provide that there is a Truth and that this Truth will counter Sin. They provide that Unity is necessary for Order and that Order is necessary for Security and that Security will cast out the Sin of Death. Truth, Order, Unity and Security are known as the Four Corners, for they form the foundational precepts, but other precepts may arise out of the need for expansion or clarification.
The Aurbis is dark, and only through the Precepts of Ethics can we be enlightened.

Justice
|
Justice is the practice of executing the Precepts of Ethics and countering the Precepts of Sin. Justice is service to the Objective Good, the unshackling of the State from the One.

Truth |
Truth is foundation of all Ethics. There is no higher cause than the Objective Truth. Truth is not an opinion. All precepts are built on Truth. Adherence to truth reduces Division (reinforces Unity) and therefore reduces Chaos (reinforces Order), which provides for the provision of Security.
That which is unproven is not Truth, except where it is self-evident. The principle of self-evidence does not apply to processes or relationships, which must be proven (correlation does not equal causation). Faith does not manifest Truth, which is to say that belief does not make a thing True, especially where it is False. Speaking against the Truth is to speak a Lie. The Truth is that there is no Higher Power, and Religion is a Sin when used as a literal. Religion and myth are acceptable to use as fiction or as metaphor. Jokes are neither Truth nor Sin by nature and shall be judged through the lens of Justice and their opposition to Ethics or to Sin. A Truth spoken from a place of Sin is also a Sin, even if it is Truth. A lie of Pride or Envy is a Sin. To speak softly in the shoes of another, for the purposes of uplifting and motivating is not a Lie, especially where it is not False. It is akin to a Truth, for the purpose of the Truth is to promote Order, Unity and Security. Truth used solely to promote Sin is a Sin and a Lie. |
Order |
Order, also known as Control, is the strict manipulation of people or things in a manner that accomplishes some intentional purpose. It can also be viewed as applied knowledge. The Aurbis runs on physical laws that can be understood and quantified mathematically and extrapolated logically, but without Order imposed on the results, it exists in a state of Chaos, because it lacks the reason or intention that only sentient beings can impose upon it.
The establishment and maintenance of Order, both socially and environmentally, is a necessary gateway to ensuring the accomplishment of Security. Order demands the minimization of risk and manipulation of physical laws to fulfill person-oriented goals. It also requires persons to act in a manner that does not disrupt Order or sow Chaos that could pose a risk to the maintenance of Security. This particularly involves the enforcement of Truth and Unity through the lens of Order. |
Unity
|
Unity, also known as Equality, and best known as the State, is the acknowledgement that all persons are morally equal irrespective of one's actions. It is also the dispelling of prejudice (through Truth) and discrimination or oppression (fulfilling Security).
The State is the purest expression of Unity, and exists in opposition to the One. Unity does not presuppose the erasure of the One, but recognizes that the One must exist in a State to fulfill Security, and that the One must be shackled by Truth and Unity in order to fulfill Order. Unity generally disallows the formal requirement or informal expectation of honorifics, or of titles used outside of limited, contextually beneficial contexts. It also disallows excessive public or widespread use of such honorifics, or of hierarchical titles used outside of academic contexts where no social expectation of seniority is reinforced. |
Security
|
Security, also known as Safety, is the purpose of Truth, Order and Unity. Security is the minimization of human suffering, harm and death. Security is not feeling physically threatened, or mentally assaulted, or lacking basics needs such as food, water, shelter and healthcare.
Security allows for the minimal use of force in order to maintain Security within the State, including the use of whatever force necessary to remove threats to the State. While the purpose of Security is to reduce death, death may be required to preserve Security of the State where the death toll, or suffering toll, is smaller than the alternative potential or imminent death toll towards the State (particularly those abiding by its Ethics). Security relates to Order as a means by which to create Security, and Unity relates as a means by which to eliminate conflict, and as a guiding principle in equal and equitable implementation of Security. As Truth is a necessary component of Unity, and to a lesser extent Order, it is tangentally related to Security. The practice of Justice is furtherance and achievement of Security and the highest objective of the Ethics and the State. |
Sins
Sins are the actions and ideologies that act in opposition to the Precepts of Ethics or the determinations on Other Topics. The word Sin is an example of Religion as Metaphor (see below); it is not a literal expression of Religion. The Precepts of Ethics exist to practically eliminate Sin from the Aurbis, or to limit the Chaos they cause.
Death
|
Death is the gravest of Sin. Though the purpose of Security is to prevent Death, Truth provides that Death is the end; it is the absence of existence. To die is to do nothing else, to never feel or think. Death may be ignored, but it cannot be forgotten. There is nothing after Death. There is no afterlife. Afterlife as literal is Religion, which is a Sin.

Religion
|
Religion is an organized Lie. Its purpose is the perpetuation of Sin and opposition to Ethics. Its primary enemy is Truth, and by extension Order, Unity and Security.
All religion is equal. There is no better, and there is no worse. All are deserving of Justice and condemnation and eradication. Freedom of religion is not freedom. It leads to Chaos and to Death. Religious freedom is a shackle and a weapon and it should be branded as such, and to speak of it thusly is to practice Truth. To defend religion is to speak a Lie. |
Celebrity
|
Celebrity is worship, and so it is a Sin. It is the false elevation of mortal idols, violating Unity as well as Truth. Truth binds us in Security and Celebrity creates Chaos. Celebrity fuels Pride and Envy.
Of no One shall be built statues or other shrines of worship intended to glorify an individual. To no One shall deference be given, nor shall excessive praise be heaped. Before no One shall be bowed or saluted or given other signs of celebrity, idolatry or deference. |
Discrimination

Discrimination, prejudice or any action made extricably on the the basis of race, national origin (not to be confused with national affiliation), ethnicity, skin color, disability, ability, style of dress (except where otherwise stated), age, health, weight, height, bodily proportions, mental illness, physical illness, personal aesthetic, sex, sexuality or other basis of extricable distinction is in violation of of the Precepts of Ethics, chiefly a sin against Truth and Unity and taken to its logical conclusion: Security.

Fate/Free Will
|
The deification of fate is a Lie, as is the position of free will. Fate is the natural progression of cause and effect. Fate is logic. The Aurbis operates on quantifiable principles, which govern interactions between any forces of matter, energy or otherwise. Reality is Truth, and time is Truth in motion, and motion is predetermined from the seed of the Aurbis.
The theory or reality of its seeding is irrelevant in light of the immutable Truth that we are flesh and blood, and we operate within the Aurbis. Our bodies, and our minds, react to stimuli and respond according to the fundamental laws of the Aurbis. And so choice is an illusion. In its place there is only Truth and the dictates of an impersonal fate. Expression of free will and associated concepts are allowable only as fiction or metaphor, as literal use will be a Lie. |
Sexuality |
Since it has been established for over 5000 years that homosexuality and bisexuality are normal, natural elements of human psychology and physiology, the Ethics state on the record of Truth that they are to be accepted in society and by the State and afforded equal status to that of heterosexuality. In accordance with Unity and the doctrine of Discrimination, unequal treatment of non-heterosexuals is intolerable.
As a topic of contemporary discussion at the time of writing, clarification is also provided as to recognized sexualities:
Additional recognition is paid heed to the limitations of such words in describing the various confluence of factors that make up human attraction and sexuality, and applicability of such labels is enforced only for State recognition of acceptable behavior and the mandates of national tolerance. However, as such labels are made with a basis in Truth, undue diversification of verbiage may be considered a violation of both Truth and Order or even Unity where expression reaches an unnatural extreme. |
Gender
|
Gender, also known as and synonymous with Sex for all purposes concerning the State and the ethic of Truth, is a set of interpreted biological characteristics comprising the sexual, and partial physiological and pyscho-social, makeup of an individual.
The State does not recognize, uphold or maintain contemporary or historical social and cultural gender roles, identities or divisions except where applicable for necessary (i.e. medical or psycho-medical) purposes. Where necessary, gender is to be categorized and/or generalized according to no more than two (2) genders: male and female. [Definitions deferred for later review.] Genders are generalizations, and deviation from prescribed identifications is normal and to be expected. Such individuals denoted as intersex (whether from birth or from later changes [see below]) are to be gendered as appropriate to the relevant (i.e. medical or psycho-medical) context. Although it is possible to transition genders, the innate physiological and psychological disposition towards gender (which are as yet not fully understood) poses psycho-medical risks (including depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts) to individuals. Therefore, in accordance with Security, such transitions are allowable only to treat pre-existing psycho-medical conditions such as gender dysphoria. To reiterate: gender transitions for those without psycho-medical conditions such as gender dysphoria which necessitate curative transitions pose an increased risk of depression, anxiety and suicide, and as such gender transitions of any kind are not allowable where unnecessary. |
Clothing
|
In general, there are no requirements or restrictions on worn articles, including tops, bottoms, hats, headgear or shoes. Exceptions include a sanitary requirement to cover one's pelvic area in public or semi-public spaces (fulfills Security) and a restriction on items which express ideas or visuals that violate - or have a non-negligible capacity to violate - Truth, Unity, Order or Security. Claims of "morally objectionable" messaging based on ideas or beliefs that themselves violate Truth, Unity, Order or Security should not be considered valid objections to clothing.
Other limited requirements or restrictions may be imposed in spaces where a valid reason exists that violation of said requirements or restrictions may cause logical detriment to other individuals, for example:

Work
|
Pursuant to the Precept of Security, no individual shall work, for profit or without profit on behalf of a for-profit endeavor, any greater than 40 hours per week, which must be spread across no more than 5 consistently-scheduled days of the week. Furthermore, individuals may limit this to 30 hours per week, which must be spread across no more than 4 consistently-scheduled days of the week, at no loss in compensation provided that total estimated output matches the previous work limits. Additionally, thou shalt not work for free on any for-profit endeavor.
Pursuant to the Precept of Order, organized work must be consistently scheduled. No individual who is not compensated for a role in recruitment, hiring or management shall be responsible for ensuring that organization roles are fulfilled. It shall be the responsibility of managerial roles to ensure that organizational duties are fulfilled outside of the strict requirements of those who cannot fulfill them. Where possible (without abridgement of the above paragraphs), individuals must be allotted off the days that best work within their individual lives, for any such reasons as familiar, personal, social or political responsibilities, all of which are considered as taking precedence over for-profit endeavors. The definition of a for-profit endeavor is not to be decided by the designee organization. Furthermore, while no specific economic ideology is endorsed in full by this document, it must be stated that pursuant to the Precept of Justice, the fruits of society's labors should be spread equally and equitably among society's laborers. Those who produce shall be considered the rightful producers of their work, and no one may be allowed to profit excessively from the production of another's labor. This paragraph shall not be construed any such way as to violate the Precepts of Ethics or to support any Sins. |
Health
|
Pursuant to the Precept of Security, individuals possess a fundamental, unabridged and irrevocable right to contraception, birth control, abortion, gender-affirming care and other medically-necessary or medically-beneficial preventive and remedial healthcare, both physiological, psychological, psycho-social and other. Violation of this fundamental right is a violation of the Precepts and considered a Sin on the order of Death and Discrimination.
Under no circumstances shall any individual or group be forcibly sterilized on the basis of Sinful Discrimination, nor may economic or social class be considered in suitability of parenthood. Medical treatment shall be administered only as medically-necessary or medically-beneficial. This includes, but is not limited to, medicinal, surgical, assistive and psycho-social care. |
